Please use this thread to report problems with SMF, the script that runs the forums.

Please let us know what skin, browser (IE 6, IE 7, Firefox, etc) and operating system (windows, mac, linux) you are using.

You may know this but I haven't seen it mentioned: all icons are not displaying, at least for me.  I get broken links instead.  I tried to upload a new icon, and I got an error page saying:


I'm using Mac OS X 10.4.  This is probably a consequence of the server migration, and may be known, but I thought I'd mention it.

Actually, no I didn't know about that. I suspect that icons didn't get saved somehow. I think if I CHMOD the right folder, it should solve the problem but you'll have to upload your icon again. I noticed that my own icon disappeared, but I thought that was due to my own mistake -- I'm trying to make a new skin for the forums and I've been using that one, so I thought I simply messed something up on the skin itself.

ETA: I have CHMOD-ed the appropriate directory and it still doesn't seem to want to let me upload. The frustrating part is I can see everyone's previously uploaded icons in that directory. They're there; they just don't seem to be connected to the proper profiles anymore! I think I'm going to have to turn this one over to Carissa.

Son of ETA: I seem to have fixed it. Go me! (LOL, I made a mistake when I typed the path for avatars, which I only just now noticed.)

Yup, they're back.  Thanks!   Now our complimentary shippy icons are visible to the world.
