The power of fandom. When TLC posted this, JKR was behind Al Gore, and Obama ...now she's leading by almost EIGHT THOUSAND VOTES!!  :chicken:

Meh, I only want her to win because the wank we'd see in certain sections of the 'fandom' would be truly awesome. I think you know which sections I'm talking about. I've seen you over there debating. Cheesy

Alas, she did not win, but the article that can be found here: http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/personoftheyear/article/0,28804,1690753_1695388_1695436,00.html and the information in the 10 Questions about HP that follows just makes me smile. Yes, I'm sick, I'm a softie, I shouldn't be posting, I should go back to bed and all...it made me smile.

And, Celestine, this part made me think of you:  Tongue

Quote
Who does Draco Malfoy marry?
Astoria Greengrass, younger sister of the Greengrass family. We meet Daphne Greengrass, part of Pansy Parkinson's Slytherin posse, in Book V when Hermione takes her O.W.L.s. Neville marries Hannah Abbott, who becomes the owner of The Leaky Cauldron. "I do have it all worked out in my mind because I couldn't stop myself doing that."
