I can't tell you how happy I am to see GT reborn!

I've been on the edges of the fandom since 2003...about the same time that the original GT went down.  I'm not a writer, but I do appreciate good fanfiction.  I was directed here by Antosha who wanted to amuse me with Celestine's fandom-mocking fic (and did that ever work!    )

If there is a role I do relish in the community though, it's a scrapper.  I'm on FAP strictly to brow-beat the opposition with unrelenting logic in terms of Harry Potter plot, style, and characterization.  Someone has to remind the haters that they're delusional, and that it's not a badge of honour!

I've been 'Daksian' ever since I came online in 1994, and as far as I know, I'm the only one to carry that name (a source of pride with me, I admit).  I also answer the nickname 'Daks', but not 'Dak'.  The latter reminds me too much of Luke Skywalker's gunner on Hoth (yes, I'm a SW geek too), but I've recently learned that the former means 'pants' to Aussies. 

In real life, I'm a 32-year-old Canadian male who has recently returned to university to complete my English degree (I'm currently registered as 2nd year).

Hello and welcome! It's mostly girls around, so we're happy the male/female ratio is changing! I recognized your name from FA (not that I've posted there much ...but yeah, sometimes one needs amusement). Anyway, I don't make much sense after a long day at work ...but welcome!
